Frank's Doghouse

For years I told my wife that I was interested in building a workshop. Finally about 3 years ago we hired Eldon and crew to build the shop, which was a whole lot better and faster than me building it. When they were getting close to finishing, my neighbor, Neil came over and looked at the project. Neil said "Ah, Frank's Doghouse". We have a lot of good laughs at that name, so finally I decided to call the shop "Frank's Doghouse". If Linda wants to know where I am at, she just looks in the doghouse.
The back 2/3 of the building is the wood workshop it self. It is full of saws, hammers, sanders, clamps, wood, glue and of course, lots of sawdust. The front 1/3 is the showroom. It is small, but full of great wood products for sale. The walls are covered in pallet wood, which is perfect for hanging things up.
In this small area you can see
1. Wood USA flags, each one unique and different.
2. Rustic wood photo frames.
3. Wall plaques of different types.
4. A table full of wood cell phone amplifiers. They really work.        (Come and try them for your self.)
5. Wood puzzles of every description.
6. Wood tables, cabinets and more for sale.
7. I also have a variety of oven push-pull sticks.
We can also make custom picture frames and wood flags.
Everything in the showroom is for sale, (EXCEPT Micky Mouse - He is my guard mouse with shotgun in hand. I made him back in 6th grade shop, so he is old and priceless!)
Please feel free to come and visit and shop at Frank's Doghouse. I will personally give you the grand tour!

Wood Amps

One of the joys and mysteries of working with wood is that you can make almost anything out of wood. A couple of Saturday's ago I watched an episode of Woodsmith Magazine where they made fancy cell phone amplifiers. That same day I took a trip to You tube and found several people who had their own designs for these amps. I used some of those designs and added my own special touches and came up with a couple of different designs. The great thing is that I can make them in batches. It still takes quite awhile to make each one, but it now I can make several in  a row. Each one still has it's own personality. Below are some of the wood amps that I have done.
God Bless the USA!!!
These are$12.00 each.   (Larger ones will be $15.00 each)
The last one is made of Barn Wood: $20.00

Made of Barn Wood - $20.00
